Qatar Airways Orders Boeing Jets During Trump Visit

On May 14, 2025, Qatar Airways announced a significant agreement with Boeing to acquire up to 210 twin-aisle jets, comprising 30 Boeing 777X and 130 Boeing 787 aircraft, valued at approximately $96 billion. 

The deal was formalized during U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to Gulf states, underscoring strengthened economic ties between the United States and Qatar. 

This order is expected to bolster Boeing’s position in the global aviation market while supporting Qatar Airways’ expansion plans.
