Sarkodie Reacts to NSA Caution for Kumasi Concert

Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie has responded calmly to a stern warning from the National Sports Authority (NSA) regarding his upcoming Rapperholic Homecoming concert at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The event, set to draw thousands of fans, has sparked concerns over potential damage to the stadium's pitch.

NSA Director General Yaw Ampofo Ankrah emphasized that while the venue is approved for use, the pitch itself is off-limits.

"We will ensure he [Sarkodie] doesn't damage the Baba Yara pitch.

Using the venue is permitted, but the pitch is prohibited," Ankrah stated in an interview on Asempa FM.

He warned that any violations could lead to penalties, highlighting the need to protect the facility for sporting events.

Sarkodie, known for his hit tracks and massive following, took to social media to acknowledge the caution.

In a post, he assured authorities and fans alike: "No pressure.

We know the rules, Rapperholic production won't touch the pitch."

The rapper pledged full compliance, stating his team is prepared to adhere to all guidelines to ensure a smooth show without compromising the stadium's integrity.

This isn't the first time venue concerns have arisen for major concerts in Ghana, but Sarkodie's proactive response has eased tensions.

Fans are buzzing with excitement for the concert, which promises high-energy performances and special guests.

As preparations ramp up, Sarkodie remains focused on delivering an unforgettable experience for his Kumasi supporters, proving once again why he's a staple in Ghana's music scene.
