Shatta Wale's ShattaFest 2025 Breaks Records

 Shatta Wale's ShattaFest 2025 at Accra's Black Star Square drew tens of thousands of fans on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in a spectacular celebration of the Dancehall King's birthday and music legacy.

 The free concert, branded "Shatta Fest 2025 x Shattabration: The King Calls," transformed the iconic Independence Square into a sea of excitement and white-clad supporters who started arriving from midday and packed the venue and surrounding streets by sunset.​

The event featured a star-studded lineup of top Ghanaian musicians including Sarkodie, Samini, Wendy Shay, Medikal, Kelvynboy, Amerado, DarkoVibes, Tinny, JZyNo, Kwame Yogot, DopeNation, among others, delivering high-energy performances that electrified the crowd through the night and into the early hours of Sunday morning.

Shatta Wale, whose birthday was on October 17, used the concert to express gratitude to his fans who have supported him over the years. 

He also honored rapper Tinny with a tribute for backing him early in his career and played peacemaker between Nigerian influencers on stage, showcasing his influence beyond music. 

The event was powered by MoMo Fest, supported by Shaxi and Charterhouse.​

This massive turnout and successful event underscored Shatta Wale's stature as one of Ghana's most influential music icons, with a loyal fanbase that spans Accra and beyond. 

The festival was not only a birthday celebration but a testament to Shatta Wale's enduring impact on Ghanaian and African music.​

In addition to the concert, Shatta Wale has submitted his latest single "Street Crown" for Grammy Awards consideration, reflecting his ambitions to continue expanding his international presence.​
