Akwatia Constituency Prepares for By-Election

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana is in full swing with preparations for the upcoming parliamentary by-election in the Akwatia Constituency, scheduled for September 2, 2025. The by-election was necessitated by the passing of the sitting Member of Parliament, and both the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are gearing up for a fiercely contested race.
